CALL to CHOREOGRAPHERS and CanAsian Dance ALUMNI
for
CanAsian Dance Festival 25!
2022 is CanAsian Dance’s 25th anniversary! We’re celebrating with a Festival and in two ways:
1. by giving Canada-based choreographers the opportunity to create new short digital/video works,
2. by presenting recent digital/video works of Canada-based artists we have presented in the past 25 years to showcase the artistic evolution and diversity of our talented CanAsian alumni.

* ‘Asian-based ideas and practices’ are broad terms and we interpret them liberally. Think philosophically, mathematically, astronomically, ancestrally, geo-politically, paradigmatically, poetically, personally, behaviourally, socially or critically. Consider power, processes, systems, structures, stories, objects and/or actions. Tell us about your experience, investment, practice with these ideas and practices. Integrate them with respect and perspective.
