Spotlights Series: This initiative invites the community into a practice of thinking of others. Each spotlight series has a specific focus ie. teacher, geographical community, dance form, etc. and asks the community members to nominate someone in that category. The nominator speaks to why they are nominating this person, allowing for us to present the selected artists in more meaningful ways.  The featured nominee is given space to express in their words their reflections, offerings, and wishes for the community. This nomination process and selection through a randomizer app allows the community’s voices to be heard.
